Lewis Elementary Student Average Daily Attendance
In the realm of education, attendance stands as a cornerstone, shaping the foundation for both students and teachers to progress hand in hand. Simply put, if students aren't in school, they can't learn, and when a significant number miss out, it creates a domino effect that hinders the progress of the entire class. Excelsior Springs School District recognizes this, aiming for an attendance rate above 90% to meet the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s (DESE) guidelines.
